u will take it this year in Pharmaceutical Chemistry 2 with ph.Adel Nofal any way: coz Quinolones Classified within thegroup of compounds issensitiveto light, so whenthe patient's exposureto thesun will increasethen theamount oftoxicityof these compoundsseveraltimes Depending on theChlorine atombeingownedorfluorineatom, whichis acompoundcontainingfluorineatomis more dangerousfor that matter I hope Ihelped youwith something
Thnx alot Salam & Zaid
u give lots of very practical informations about dat
and dat's enough 4save
thnx again brilliants
but if u plz , I have another explanation: is it so dangerous to give it in daylight?!
or by other words: approximately, what is the amount of sunlight which is forbidden on patients with Quinolones Therapy & is it related to age too?!!!
I don't think that rapid exposure to
the sun would lead to this toxicity, but excessive exposure to it and prolonged
and frequent exposure that would lead to such toxic (phototoxicity)
For ageunfortunatelyI have noideaabout...Butmost of the studiesweretaking placebetween the ages40-45years
